Service Advisor

At Car Tune Up – Sarasota, our Service Advisor plays a key role in helping customers feel confident and cared for. You’ll be the link between our customers, technicians, and management — making sure each vehicle gets the service it needs and each customer gets clear, honest information about their repairs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, schedule appointments, and provide repair estimates in a friendly and helpful way.
• Clearly explain repair needs and costs to customers in simple, easy-to-understand language.
• Communicate customer concerns to our ASE-certified technicians and relay the technician’s findings back to the customer.
• Handle questions, concerns, and unexpected issues calmly and professionally.
• Help manage parts ordering and scheduling to keep repairs moving smoothly.
• Use shop software to create repair orders, track work, and process estimates.
• Help customers understand their options, service specials, and warranties.

What We’re Looking For:

• Automotive experience or a strong understanding of auto repairs is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to make decisions quickly.
• Comfortable using automotive shop software and online parts ordering systems.
• Ability to work well with both customers and technicians.
• Valid Florida driver’s license (or ability to transfer an out-of-state license within 30 days).

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand and walk throughout the shop for up to 8 hours a day.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch when needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
• Work in a typical auto shop environment — occasional noise, fumes, or smells.
